For the third week of lent, let’s return to the gospel stories. If you need a refresher of the Ignatian method of reading the gospel with your interior senses, refer back to Lent Week 1. This week let’s focus on the stories of folks who encountered Jesus.
Readings for the Third Week of Lent:
- Day 1: Nicodemus (John 3:1-21)
- Day 2: The Samaritan Woman (John 4: 1-42)
- Day 3: Rich Young Ruler (Mark 10:17-31)
- Day 4: A woman and the Pharisee (Luke 7:36-50)
Repeat Days 1-4 as necessary or choose other gospel stories of encounter. I pray that you encounter God in a new way this week.
